Galeries Lafayette at Boulevard Haussman
This past weekend I visited Paris for a romantic 4 day long weekend and it was amazing as always! It wasn't my first time in Paris, but it was my first time in Versaille and it was one of the most beautiful places I've ever been!
Versaille
If you haven't visited Versaille before you just have to. It is so beautiful its almost beyond comprehension. It didnt really dawn on me just how amazing it was until after I got home and was looking at the pictures I had taken. I think after the initial gasp your eyes eventually get "used to" all the gold and glam. From walking around the castle and the beautiful gardens I have to say I understand how easy it must have been for the royals to forget there was another world out there without velvet clad walls.
Versaille
I did not get around to buying what I had originally planned, and I am quite bummed, but I did pick up a few things I've been lusting after at the Sephora at Champs-Élysées.
From Left; Urban Decay Naked 2, Smashbox Photo Finish Light, Mac Empty Quad, 2x Loreal Volume Million Lashes + Free Kohl, Chanel Levres Scintillantes Glossimer in 169 'Jalousie', Mac Omega, Urban Decay De-Slick Oil-Control Makeup Setting Spray and Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer in 'Sand'.
First I picked up Mac's Omega for my brows along with an empty 4 quad to put depotted mac shadows in when I travel. Then I finally took the plunge and got the Naked 2 and De-Slick by Urban Decay. I also got Smashbox's photofinish light primer, the bobbi brown creamy concealer in 'Sand' and fell in love with Chanel's new Jalousie! I also picked up a two pack of Loreal's Volume Million Lashes at Charles De Gaulle on the way home, getting a free black kohl with it, so I will be testing that out for sure! Would love to find a cheaper black pencil to love!
Versaille
Not that much actually, compared to my usual travel hauls so I am somewhat proud of that! Let me know if there's anything you'd like to see a review on!
